Eric Contee
Eric Contee II is a Harvey Mudd College student (Class of 2019) pursuing a B.S in Engineering. He is currently working on the discovery of wrecked slave ships in Turks and Caicos, using AUV towed magnetometer surveys. Given synchronized AUV and magnetometer readings, he is using a Bayes filter to create 2D probabilistic maps of the likelihood of the presence of shipwrecks. He hopes to use this technology to make improvements to the field of maritime archaeology, and processing of magnetometer data. His interests are electrical/computer engineering, robotics and political studies.
